What is "companion care"? It is simply the broadest range of help you can find. Because there are so many ways to help a senior or disabled person stay independent at home, it is easiest not to put limitations on how helpful this service can be.
Below are a few of the most common ways we assist our clients:
- Respite or companionship
- Medication reminders and assistance interacting with doctors
- Documenting daily visits, such as weight, blood sugar and meals
- Grooming/clothing assistance and observing for skin changes
- Household assistance, such as laundry and cleaning
- Meal preparation, shopping and errands
- Mobility assistance
- Bed care, such as bathing and skin care
